Madeline Young, is a Social Economist, International Relations & Business Ethics Adviser to executive board level stakeholders, local and federal governments officials in the UK, EU, and Africa. Specialist in compliance, corruption prevention, government relations, particular expertise in natural resource management.
Currently leading the Business Economics program as Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University of London. Previously lecturing and leading seminars in international relations in political science & business decision making, while also conducting research for a PhD in business ethics in the Business Sustainability Department at University of Surrey.
Dr. Nii Longdon Sowah is an engineer by training. Nii is an experienced PHD Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the engineering research industry. He is currently a lecturer at the Computer Engineering Department of the University of Ghana. He teaches core level classes in mathematics and robotics at University of Ghana, Legon College of Engineering. He is also an IT consultant.
His experience in research areas is Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. His hobbies include reading, listening to music and watching football. Nii believes everyone can and has to operate at their maximum capacity.
Aisha M. Williams was a technology journalist before embarking upon a career in higher education administration. For several years during and after graduating from Howard University in 1999 with a B.A. in Journalism, she covered wireless technology for the information technology trade publication, Information Week Magazine.
After receiving her M.A. in English from The City College of New York in 2006, she pivoted away from a career in journalism towards a career in education and has not looked back since. She was inspired by the volunteer work she did back then for the pre-GED prep program, Literacy Partners. It moved her to focus on teaching writing in underserved urban communities.
Marla Parker, Ph.D., is a highly accomplished professor, academic researcher, consultant and author with nearly 20 years of success across the higher education, academic research, and consulting industries. Marla holds a BGS degree from the University of Michigan, and MPA and PhD(Public Administration) degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Arizona State University’s Center for Organizational Research and Design and School of Public Affairs. She has also served as Research Fellow at the Pat Brown Institute since 2016.
Nii Addy’s work focuses on engaging businesses, public agencies, and civil society organizations for sustainable development. He collaborates with stakeholders from the various societal sectors to develop, implement, and assess policies, strategies and programs for institutional change across industrial domains (education, agri-food, nutrition, health, etc.).
Nii applies research in developing knowledge sharing tools, and in training leaders as they participate in multi-stakeholder partnership processes for collective impact. He enjoys using intergenerational approaches, engaging children, youth, adults and the elderly in training, with the goal of addressing how diverse stakeholders can work together effectively to improve human wellbeing. He also enjoys working in multiple linguistic and cultural contexts.
